International Day of Families
The Zonta Club of Trenton and Mercer County Commission on the Status of Women are hosting a contest for children to celebrate The United Nations International Day of Families, celebrated this year on May 15. We are asking children to submit artwork or an essay that reflects their impression of What Family Means to Me.
To have your elementary school age children participate:
Download the contest form (two pages). Page One. Page Two.
In the space provided on Page One, have children draw a picture or submit an essay on What Family Means to Me. For essays, they can be submitted on lined paper or in Word and do not need to be submitted on the official form; however, name, school, grade, and teacher’s contact information should be submitted with the entry. If your child is submitting from home, please put down the parent contact information instead of the teacher information.
